I dreamed that the company I work for merged with another office. The people at the new place were very nice. Everyone got new work stations except my work station was the worst one. It wasn't even a desk. It was an end table and no room for me to put my computers, etc. It was also right near the front door and next to the coffee station where there was a lot of people all the time. I was so hurt and confused why I was given such a poor spot. Some of the people there were trying to help me. One lady went and told the owner we had merged with and got me a better spot. But my original bosses didn't care or try to help me.
Dreams about work often symbolize our feelings of competence, fulfillment, and success in our waking life. In this dream, the merger of your company with another office could represent changes or transitions happening in your professional life. The fact that the people at the new office were nice could indicate that you are open to new opportunities and relationships. Your work station being the worst could symbolize feelings of being overlooked, undervalued, or unappreciated in your work environment. The end table instead of a proper desk may signify a lack of stability or support in your current position. Being located near the front door and coffee station could suggest feeling exposed or out of place in your job. The actions of the people in the dream, such as the kind lady who helped you get a better spot, may represent supportive figures or allies in your waking life who have your best interests at heart. The fact that your original bosses did not care or try to help you could indicate feelings of neglect or dissatisfaction with your current leadership or management. Overall, this dream might be reflecting your concerns about your position at work, feelings of not being properly valued or supported, and a desire for recognition and appreciation. It could be a sign for you to consider your current situation and evaluate if there are changes you need to make to feel more fulfilled and satisfied in your professional life.
